FRANCE HAS LABELLED EURIPIDES²
FUNDING BODY
The Ministry of Economy, Industry and Digital Sector through the Directorate General for Enterprises (DGE) earmarks funds for the financing of EURIPIDES² projects. The DGE is involved on one hand, at operational level in funding and reviewing EURIPIDES² projects, at strategic level through interaction with other public authorities and industry representatives, on the other hand.
EUREKA clusters, and in particular EURIPIDES² and PENTA, represent a natural continuation of French competitiveness clusters, at European level.
FUNDING TOOLS
EURIPIDES² projects are funded though grants that can be complemented with the CIR (Research tax Refund).
To be eligible, French partners must look for national funding shemes:
-
An existing national program such as Nano2022, if they are the beneficiaries and under the conditions laid down in this program. In the case of Nano2022, only the leaders identified in the program are entitled to submit a funding application;
-
National or Regional calls for projects, respecting the specific conditions of these calls.
