GERMANY HAS LABELLED EURIPIDES²
The EUREKA/COST Bureau is the national contact point for all general and specific questions related to EURIPIDES in Germany. It is part of the Project Management Agency of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Its project officers advise project applicants individually on the choice of potential funding schemes, evaluate and support the projects on the international EUREKA boards. Furthermore, they give support for promoting and marketing the project results.
Besides the application for the EURIPIDES label, German R&D project partners have to apply for funding in an appropriate national German funding programme. Generally, all running funding programmes of the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) as well as of the Ministry for Economy and Technology (BMWi) and regional governments are open for German partners.
Frequently applied rules on partial projects on the German side (not exclusively) are:
Consortia of at least two German partners (at least one from industry) are requested
Project should feature a high degree of innovation and technical development risks
Commercially exploitable results should be obtained with impact on the (German) market
